Na Gera belongs to the second.


Long before churches were built, before new gods were preached, Fiji stood in a different age. An age of warriors, chiefs, prophecy, and consequence. An age where belief was not spoken lightly… and power was not taken without blood🩸.


This is where his story begins.


Not as a hero.


Not as a legend.


But as a man who saw something he could not ignore.


A light on a mountain.


A warning… or a promise.


⚔️ A Chief Caught Between Worlds


Na Gera was not asked to choose.


He was made to stand between:

  • what his people had always known
  • and what was coming for them

Between the old gods… and a new belief that did not arrive quietly.


What follows is not a simple tale of good and evil.


It is a story of:

  • identity
  • resistance
  • sacrifice
  • and the cost of standing your ground when the world begins to change


🩸 A Name Earned in Death

In a time where fallen warriors were consumed to claim their strength…


Na Gera’s enemies refused.


His body was declared Tabu.


Too much Mana to be touched.


Too powerful to be taken.


Instead, those who fought him honoured him.


They wrapped him in their most sacred warrior headdresses…


And in that moment, a name was born:


RALOGAIVAU


A name not given in victory.


But in respect.

A Kiss from the Ancient Lady of the Sea – Fijian Legend of Lewa Cinacina

I’m from Fiji, Solevu Bay in Bua. I have a story of ancient entity that haunts our waters to this day.  The Fijian Legend of Lewa Cinacina She is known as “ Lewa Cinacina ” or Lady of the Light 💡 or The Ancient Lady of the Sea . She is an ancient Mer-Creature 🧜‍♀️ that is known to be a harbinger of death 💀. She also has the ability to shape shift . She is known to take the shape of sea creatures or persons recently lost at sea. Her most seen form is of a young beautiful woman dressed in brilliantly bright white light. She can be seen swimming rock pools on the reef during moonless nights. When a chieftain dies or is about to die, the light that emanates from her is red. Her husband is “Dakuwaqa”, from Cakaudrove. We have a folklore that if you find yourself adrift in the middle of the Pacific Ocean on a stormy night ... we chant a prayer to the “Ancient Lady of Sea”,  to come to our aid and bring us (her grand childre...

The Mysterious Island of Burotukula.

 Men that set foot onto the island are never seen again.  The island appears shortly after a mysterious storm ⛈ has formed.  Men seek refuge and shelter from the menacing storm on the island… only to be held prisoner but lustrous succubus.  The island then disappears again after capturing her prey. Sailors or fisher once shipwrecked on the island fall asleep are awoke to beautiful young women are singing, dancing and laughing.  The women are welcoming and enchanting… ######## There is another legend told by 60-year-old Leanatasi Waqasaqa of the mataqali (landowning unit) Naveivorati the traditional warrior (bati) to the chief the Turaga na Takala from Vadravadra Village on Gau. According to Mr Waqasaqa, Senijale the ravouvou ni (prince of) Muaigau was out on an expedition sailing into Lau waters when he fell asleep.
